Adelaide
Travels

Out of the five mainland capital cities in Australia that I have been to, Adelaide is the one that gets me.
I’ve been to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, but Adelaide hits different.
My first ultra long haul destination is Adelaide. I can still vividly remember the things that I did way back in 2022. I love the hotel and the community alongside it wherein it feels like home. It’s a small town but full of life. Don’t get me wrong; I love all those five but I can say that Adelaide is my favorite.
Second is Sydney— I love the opera house and the coconut shake that I tried here! Sydney is a fast paced city like New York (God knows how I love NY) and also because I have a friend who works there; therefore my layover becomes more meaningful whenever I’m visiting.
Third, is Perth. I am in Perth right now and it’s like Adelaide but with lots of beaches and high buildings! I went to visit Fremantle, Cottesloe and Matilda Bay and it will give you the recharged that you are looking for. It’s a healing in a form of nature.
Fourth, would be Brisbane wherein I managed to see and take a photo up close with a Koala-boo, and the best Beef Rib soup that I tasted in Maru restaurant.
And lastly, Melbourne, where you can find the iconic photo booth in Flinders Street Station and take home a photo souvenir— but you need to have a cash, so be ready with the smile on your face and a cash in your hand. I also love the hotel room here (it’s spacious!).
Each of these cities has its own unique beauty, and I am grateful that I already visited these big five in Australia… so, if you are planning to visit Australia, now is the best time since it’s still summer.
